Video: Telling the story of time with ‘Mazuva Anopfuura’

‘Mazuva Anopfuura’ which means in English As Time Passes is a poem in Shona (a Bantu Language from Zimbabwe) that highlights how things are always changing in life and in its narrative way, encourages feelings of hope, acceptance and understanding of this irreversible reality in human existence.

The performance of this poem in the video below was a collaborative effort between Barbra Breeze Anderson and a Harare based musician at a festival in Harare in 2015.
